"What If" question for the world of Elite

Here's a question I asked one of my friends recently that we spent way too much thought on;

Let's say you woke up one day finding yourself in the world of Elite Dangerous, probably as a pilot, at any point of the galaxy you'd like.
What would be your biggest concerns about your new life, and what do you think you would enjoy the most? (Assuming medical stuff with the lack of gravity and the radiation in space and such is taken care of)

Personally, I think the best thing is just being able to fly around and look at stuff (something I coincidentally don't do often in the game)
My biggest worry would probably be the extremely frequent interdictions I get when I even put so much as a scrap of cardboard in my cargo hold. (Sure, the Thargoid threat is spoopy too, but they're not really inside the bubble yet so it's not as pressing)

What are your thoughts?
