Horizons What is wrong with FD server?

I have tried to play the game all morning and keep getting a "Could not connect to server" message.
Put up with it for a while, but just now the server shut down the game completely.
The launcher says the server is okay.
Steam is okay as all games are playable. Just not Elite dangerous. What the heck have they done? If the server shuts me out then the launcher should say so.
It seems there is a big problem with FD server to this area.
Please fix it, or say what is wrong.

Anybody else having problems with FD?

Just found it 30 minutes ago, Aussie zone perhaps?

Every Thursday morning (GMT) the PowerPlay update is bundled with weekly Server maintenance, causing a ~30-60min? downtime.

I take it they also use that downtime to apply some tiny fixes or make small corrections.

Yes! Australia. But the powerplay thingy shouldn't hurt the server? -------- And if the server gets interrupted the server slot should say "Downtime"
or does it? Anybody know for sure?
And is it my Thursday or Greenwich meantime Thursday?
