I5-4570
As rock z87-pro4
8gig ddr3 1600
Gigabyte r9-280x 3gig
W7 64bit

I have the opportunity to get a new monitor for my elite rig. But I am unsure what to get....I know I want minimum of 27" and I only have space for one, so do I got with the Samsung 4k monitor which sounds good, or do I go with the BenQ 144hz full hd monitor....or is there something else I should be looking at......budget is around $700aud....

HELP ME FORUM YOUR MY ONLY HOPE......

BenQs are good i use a 27" one BUT - make sure whatever monitor you pick is compatible with 3D for your video card...I have AMD HD graphic cards but my Benq is not 3D compatible with them - which is a tad annoying - I forgot to check that out before hand and just bought the monitor on spec alone.

Thanks did you go with the144hz or just full he one....not fussed about 3d....looking at the wqhd monitors as well......

No...not 144MHZ - I actually have one of those upstairs but didnt like the overall feel of it for games...bought this one - much better quality of colour.

AWESOME....4k FR doesnt drop below 30 in Factions.

going to test it out later tonight or this week with Dahan Eranin combat zones....

all this with a little R9-280X 3Gig card....Brilliant

Most people don't buy 3D monitors for 3D, They buy them for the higher refresh rates, I have a benq 144hz 3D monitor......don't ever plan to use 3D lol

Depends on your spec realy, if your running 780 in sli I defintly go with Asus rog swift, I havn't read anythink bad about it apart from the whooping 700 pound mark.
Which at this present time is stopping me from getting it, that and id have to buy another 780 card another 400 pounds :eek:
