What monsters are hiding in the DRYMAN sector ?

Ok So dryman sector is permit locked, short of the obvious alcohol and booze, we have to wonder what is hiding in this deep space region that has forced the pilots federation to deny access to explorers - im about to begin mapping the border regions around it. But any ideas, speculation or comments are welcomed so we can figure out whats in there

Space smurfs i can make peace with, wombles would have to be search and destroy

Hmm not so sure. Whenever I see the Smurfs I breakout into a cold sweat. And Wombles, sweet jeez, I see one of those and I turn and run.

What happens if they join forces.

A truely terrifying thought.

Intelligent womble smurfs, well its as good as any explanation as to whats there. For now im just searching for volcanoes and exploration data

"What does the Womble fleet deployment look like?"

"Well sir, we count 1,947 Uncle Bulgaria class Capital Ships, 4,345 Tobermory class frigates, 437 Madam Cholet class re-supply vessels, and an erratic fighter we're classing as 'Orinoco class', but it seems to have fallen asleep."

"Dear Gods."

"It's ok sir...preliminary sensor scans indicate their fleet appears to be largely constructed from discarded crisp packets."

All that talk of alcohol and booze is enough to make me want to BOVOMIT as well as become a DRYMAN myself...

It's reserved for another idea FDev hasn't come up with yet, like the Col 285 sector. After two years, have any of these permit locked regions actually been unlocked? I wonder, how much of this sandbox galaxy is off-limits? A hundred systems? A thousand? Ten thousand?

Millions perhaps - and they can lock and unlock sectors at will col 70 locked off, i think bernards has been unlocked. So just a matter of rolling with it

Even if it were 100,000 that's still tiny compared to the overall size of the galaxy. I'd be more worried that they haven't locked out enough systems.

It wouldn't be a problem if they sealed off some little patch of nothing on the far side of the galaxy, but sealing off Barnards Loop, one of the most visible nebulae from the Bubble, is absurd.
