Just popped back to say I went Chieftain with Sir Ganksalot beam build, very nice super nimble and I've not finished with the engineering yet. The only issue now is that in High Res I keep getting bounties, finding it nearly impossible to not clip the police, annoying, so I've moved to Haz Res instead where we're very happy!

Hi, I've mostly finished my chieftan with 4x Engineered Beams with thermal vents (x3).
I'm spending a lot of time at 1% heat which is good from a not overheating PoV but... having my screen frozen over is kind of annoying when your dog fighting.
I'm thinking I should swap maybe one of the Thermal vents out for something other effect I'm just wondering if fighting PvE at 1% heat means that I'm getting hit less? I'm not sure if I am seeing this but obviously it is pretty hard to tell.
I'm assuming that when it all gets up close and personal, low heat doesn't really stop you being targeted?
I've not got my frags engineered yet so they'll generate heat once they are done so I won't make any changes since my load out is complete.
