What other games are we all playing?

DCS World because of new Persian Gulf map that is truly amazing with all the details and excellent performance. And little bit of Dark Souls remastered.

The first two aircraft for the IL-2 Battle of Bodenplatte expansion have been released: a Spitfire Mk.IXe and a Bf 109 G-14. The Spit in particular is a masterpiece.

Optional clipped wings, high and low-altitude engine variants, and an optional gyro gunsight. Pure joy to fly.

This reminds me that I have way too many games that I've bought and registered on steam but yet to install and play yet. Damit... Gods! Will I ever live long enough to play all these games!?

XCOM 2. Since I've got War Of The Chosen expansion it consumed me again. It's just so good.
I sat to play the other night and only got interrupted by my clock alarm in the morning. I've played for about 10 hours straight without realizing. This game has a serious case of "just one more turn and I'm done".

Im really enjoying stellaris right now. Bought it at the 2.1 patch so i dont know what everyone is complaining about :) Seems a great game and thanks to those on the general gaming forum that recommended it.

I finished it couple of month ago. True masterpiece and honestly great modern version of the original (retro) XCOM. I know many people say it was simplified, but IMHO it was adjusted to fit modern gaming. Amazing game. Do you use mods?

youtube videos of HOI pretty much left me cold, but im really enjoying stellaris, what other paradox games would you recommend?

My preferred is Europa Universalis which covers the mid 15th century through to early 19th.

Its an enjoyable romp and well worth a punt, as is the much loved Victoria II.

Crusader Kings can be fun, but RNG jesus really loves to screw you over.

I will make my next playthrough a modded one. For now I've been enjoying new content of WoTC so much I didn't feel like I need any. This expansion...it's a pinnacle of game design IMO. Everything is so well thought out and precisely executed. There's so much new content it feels almost like a whole new game.

Been playing Hearts of Iron 4 a lot.

I wanted to like it, but the micromanagement and the learning curve is just too much. The thing is, it is difficult to have another complex game next to Elite. I wish there was a dumbed down version with the complexity of Civ - kind of AI assistant.

Since it has been sunny for the last couple of weeks I'm mostly out in the forests and mountains.

But a quick game with The Pinball Arcade is managable without feeling you are loosing out on spare time. June 30th they are not allowed to sell the Bally/Williams tables any longer, the licence holder (one of the biggest gaming/betting holding companies own it) refused to renew it.
It is pretty amazing they even got the license from the beginning but probably because Mr Sharp was an employee at that time when they started out, helped. Mr Sharp is often called 'the man who saved Pinball' since he showed in the 70ties that Pinball is not a game of chance but that of skill and so should not be regulated as a lottery/slot machine!

And a beer and pinball goes better together than Oculus Rift and ED [noob]

Not sure it really counts but I was doing a peppa pig jigsaw with my niece.

I hate peppa pig.

If I ever meet the person who inflicted that on the world, there will be stern words.

Sorry, I had to share that. Some trauma’s run deep :D

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
Weirdly, HoI is the one series of paradox games I cant get into. Im not sure why..

Oh, I totally suck at HOI4. It's one of those games that I really *want* to love, though, so I put up with its many faults. :) It's opaque as hell, though. Still it does a fantastic job of scratching the 'I wanna play with little toy soldiers' itch. :D

Battletech.

Started playing The Forest [in VR] this week. I'm enjoying it - It works well, looks good. Definitely worth the $19 bucks.I found myself hiding in my camp, adrenaline growing as night is falling in the evening, because the cannibals keep giving me proper frights. The gigantic cave systems really compell you to keep exploring, tooI didn't play it on desktop, previously
