What the?

Stacking massacres
Wing stacking massacres
Post-balance metal deliveries (made 250m in 90 minutes, but could probably make it 400m in an hour if I put effort in)
Mining Osmium+Plat+Painite

So, there's four?

VO and other core minerals would be alright too if the PWS was working.

EDIT: Selling goid goo at Betancourt Base, which was recently added, might also be good if Research Limpets weren't busted.
BY the way... how is Painite a good money maker at these prices? I've never seen them so low. I've never mined Painite but I understand it's a good money maker, or was? These prices look horrible, worse than VOs :(

Hmm, OK. Ha! Thanks! By the way, what is "Post-balance metal deliveries"
Cargo deliveries primarily reward based on galactic average value of the cargo. So delivering 180t of Consumer Goods will pay more than delivering 180t of Biowaste (which doesn't make sense, but I digress).

Post-balance, market-available metals like Gold and Palladium went from 9000 to 50,000cr in galactic average price. That happened last week, along with the change to core mineral prices, which you thought was tomorrow.
The "Rebalance", I thought, was supposed to take place in a minor update tomorrow? These are prices today.

180t of gold would normally ship for 7-9m credits. With the price bumped up to 5* the norm, you can guess what happened to that reward.

Don't mine painite exclusively. Mine Osmium, Painite and Platinum together. They all fetch =~ 200k in commonly available conditions, and the time saved not looking for a single type of asteroid more than makes up for the drop in price. Point being... like I said, credits were too easy before, and they still are while FD shake out this rebalance. Is this a lower income stream? Yes. Is it still good for the effort required? Yes.

I think most people would appreciate that rewards for activities are reasonable, instead of making credits worthless too quickly.
I mean, if VOs would be worth 1billion per tonne, would you be happier? Or maybe it would make the game of gathering credits and therefore upgrading your stuff pretty much irrelevant?
Grinding VO is a skill. There's a lot of skill involved in placing the right charges and collecting the chunks. It's not as easy and boring as blasting a laser into a rock. So yes, VO's should be worth a LOT more than what you get laser mining and should be one of the highest paid activities, and with a non working PWA?! Come on!

At this point, I'd rather play NMS or Star Citizen, or not even play any space games and just go have some fun in RD2 or GTA, something other than a game and development team hell bent on destroying anything and everything about their game! THIS is just sad and slaps players right in the face!
The slap to the face is that you forgot to mention Space Engineers in that list of yours... :(

Ridiculously high prices, those! o_O
A couple of years ago Osmium was less than 10k and Platinum less than 20k.

I wish people would look a bit around, discovered new ways of making Cr in the game - mining and other activities alike - instead of rageguitting and autistically screeching 'NNEEEEEEERRRFF!!!1!!!'. It is still entirely possible to earn Cr at levels I consider to be exploits, now FD just have added more ways to do so than the one exploit "everyone" sees from Youtube.

With this I agree. I just think they were worth too much before. Actually I believe they can be worth the same now, only this time economy is more dynamic and it's harder to find place that will buy them at such high price. Too many people sell them at first opportunity. I think those changes are good.

Examining the market, understanding how that works, is also a skill.
PWA needs to be fixed.

I'm not suggesting that what I'm about to say should be done (and I doubt enough people would do it anyway), but if the devs are not listening to their customers then maybe the game should be boycotted for a while.
Maybe an open letter to them saying that we will no longer play ED or buy Odyssey when it comes out, unless they start to listen to their players and start to fix all the bugs in the game.

Just a thought though.....

I don't think that would EVER happen, however, the more NEG PR this game gets, the less new players they are going to have.

Indeed. It took me a whole three rocks to have the system for the charges fully figured out. Quite a challenge it was. And don't get me started on how complicated it is to launch the collector limpets without targeting a fragment...

And smuggling
And megaship looting
And research limpets

:/
I guess I am going to have to learn some new skills ;) Never smuggled, with the exception of the one ENG that requires it. Never looted a Megaship and wouldn't even know how. And what are we researching with limpets? I did notice XENO Limpets Research controller and have one, just not sure how or why it works or what's it worth. I'll head over to my Celaeno and try it out.

I think he tried to say to launch and trying to avoid they keep kamikazing on rock frags.
Limpets AI are the dumbest AI i ever see.

So, you place a perfectly placed charge every time? Never over charge or under charge, need to disarm the charge and hit anther fissure? And finding them... like they are every other rock? Ha!
