What to do if stellar bodies aren't showing up as confirmed in the Codex.

I am working on filling out my Codex in the Inner Orion Spur. Some stellar bodies, such as M class red supergiants, aren't procedurally generated, but hand placed (e.g. Betelgeuse or Vy Canis Majoris).

However, I find for some reason that when I visit those systems, my Codex isn't updating (probably because I visited those systems before the Codex was introduced? But why should that matter?) This also occurs with some other entries in the Codex, such as terraformable ammonia worlds (which perhaps aren't a thing in Stellar Forge -- but somehow one CMDR discovered them?)

Given that those stellar bodies aren't naturally generated by the Stellar Forge, is there any way for people like me to complete their Codex? Seems like this is unintended behavior at least, possibly a bug.

The previously visited system thing has been an issue since the codex was introduced. For example if you visited and scanned Sag A* already you simply cannot get the suppermassive black hole entry, it's really annoying. Terraformable ammonia worlds I just pretend I don't even see, I really with FDev would just remove them already. There's also random entries throughout the galaxy that just can't be found anymore, primarily certain lagrange clouds and biological entries

A good tool to use if you've found a system like this where entries won't confirm or changed/disappeared is to use EDSM's codex search to see if you can find the same entry in another system nearby. Unfortunately it only works in a 5000ly radius and there are still plenty of entries that you simply can't get (i.e both Lagrange Storm Clouds in the galactic centre). If you're looking for stellar bodies you can just use the celestial body search, there are a ton of other M Super Giants besides VY Canis Majoris in the Inner Orion Spur region for example
