So, I got bored of making my Eagle series. No one's really watching it. Lol

So I'm back in my Python. Haven't flown her for a while, so it's fun (it's actually faster than my Eagle too.. go figure..!)

Mostly I've just been playing space vacuum, hoovering up materials all over the place, kinda feeling like this;

What else can I do...?

Your first issue is that your eagle is slower than your python.

time to make some enhanced drives with DDT5 and dragdrives :p

It works fine for me.. my courier does 885ms and my ieagle does over 900ms.

ofcourse those are ultra light and focused on minimul weight of the thrusters.

Got my adder up to 785 boost and get still get a bit more out of her, drag drives is the special effect that worked best for me

Well I'm missing most of the materials for DD5, so that's why I've been playing space vacuum simulator.

I just decided to pop in to my local Haz Res in my Python, of course, to hoover up mats.

I got bored of actually flying, so went in to "lazy turret" mode.(where I just pitch and roll to shoot what I want without moving) And just let everything come to me, and shot it, then hoovered up everything.

Until I accidentally shot a Cobra MkIV, that I didn't notice was part of a wing 3, one of them being a gunship, with some unholy weapon system, and the SLF, of course.
So my lazy turret mode went out the window, and before I knew it, I was at 11% hull from some kind of hull breaching impact!
Not seen that before. It was a nice surprise..!

Luckily, my Python can boost to 450m/s, so I was outta there.
Perhaps I should actually get around to putting armour on my Python.... :D
But I don't want to lose the speed.

Decisions decisions...

Then my game CTD'd. Lol

Since learning that most of the Guardian modules are poop and that the "new" Ram Tah mission is just a rehash of the old one I have not played in over a week. There is so far, no new Tharg content (ooh, another station attacked, let's all haul materials . . . ooh, a flower ship, bang bang pew pew), the new release is full of bugs and imbalances, I have been spending my ED gaming time in the Forum and on Reddit looking for controversial topics (fires) on which to throw gasoline.

This would be a really good time for FDev to announce another CTRL+ALT+SPACE video competition to distract players from all the mess . . . o7
