Gotta love Mouse+Keyboard for myself
I do have Microsoft ForeFeedback2 but I don't think it works with Windows 8.
I am a big fan of MOUSE + Keyboard = ME
LOL and yet I had no problems with docking, on beeb,amstrad, c64, PC (with oolite)
MAN! I had so much trouble even with a keyboard, I was so glad to get a docking computer.

Same here, x52 pro on order.... what's happend, before xmas the x52 and pro were fully available, then only a few pros, now neither.... Is some big space sim coming out soon or something?

Sidenote: Slowly i think Saitek should pay FD some. So many of us using Saitek Products, that's crazy. As well as ppl like me getting suggestions in here.

Yep agree, Amazon have stock back in so canceled my pro x52 order with BT and bought from Amazon today...a competition to win an x55 would be nice, but am sure i will be happy with the other
but new stick coming along doesn't mean you cease your prior 2 models before it's released, you keep them as cheap alternatives for several months to a year or more depending on how quickly you replace.

The devs have been seen using an xbox360 pad and the x52 pro, ive tried the 360 and works great, but ive just bought the x52 pro, as apart from many many recommendations that its perfect for the game, it would seem to be more natural to use for ED..
..BUT everyone different! you can use the keyboard to, so try what you have now and see if they work for you before forking out on something you might not need.

Having just splashed out £200 on Alpha, buying an X52 Pro seemed well within a reasonable purchase response!
But for a game I played from '85 - '97 in its various iterations...well, I'm like a 7 year old at a Moshi Monster convention.

I have an X52 pro on order, Scan computers have them on pre order for £92+VAT. should be in on the 10th, have used Scan many times for parts and they are reliable.

I'll be starting off with a wireless x-box360 pad. See how that goes and maybe migrate to a joystick if necessary.
I wonder if a person plays on the alpha with a XBox 360 controller and if it is playable. (Perhaps opinions have already been given in this thread, I have not had time to read). I speak of the XBox 360 controller on the Alpha. (I know Xbox 360 already been mentioned in this thread, in general terms)

It's playable with a 360 controller, but I don't like it very much. Joystick highly recommended.
