Hardware & Technical what's on your hardware wish list now

Basically as titled
Now alpha has been out awhile , and now knowing what's supported
At this point,,,

What would change now , from what to what
What would go and get , if never had ,due to what you seen on here

Etc etc

Me as most know New to this gameing thing , hence my system came from a user on here , and works great, also got a x52 pro , advice from a personal friend.
Trackir I got due to threads on here. Also gone the 3 monitor route due to seeing
Pics from here, so to me this forum is my life line to this world ...

An occulus rift consumer version (possible crystal cove if it is released and I cave in)

And if right now a gtx780ti however I will probably wait and see what the maxwell 870 brings to the table.... if not much at least the 780ti would be cheaper.

Pretty sure my gtx 670 OC will be fine for the game initially but with rumours of the new oculus rift needing a solid 100fps frame rate to escape nausea, it will struggle

Joystick, but banned by the wife.

There's definite benefits to being single when it comes to investing in computer toys....sorry I mean essential accessories. ;)

I have a joystick but its not the x52 because imo that's just too expensive. I went for a madcatz cyborg fly 5 and according to what I have seen on youtube and twitch it is a more than capable stick for the game. My next big investment will be a new graphics card because my Radeon HD 6670 is getting on a bit now. I've been looking at both a R9 270x or an R9 280x. I just cant decide on which though.

well, as its a wish list An occulus rift consumer version & a Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog.

also a gaming chair, i feel the HOTAS would benefit from a good solid base

A new gfx card, but that's a long way off - my old GTX 550Ti will have to manage as best it can 'til then.

Picked up an X52 Pro based on a friends recommendation (love it), and TrackIR based on posts in the forum (love it too).

I'm seriously thinking about a 3 monitor setup.

I was looking at one of those ultra-wide ones...but I think 3 monitors is better.

Maybe 3 ultra wide?:S

I just did an upgrade to a GTX770 Windforce and an i7 4930K. I have an X52 PRo coming this week (byo Valentines presents FTW :)) but I really, really want a Rift.

My friend has the dev kit and he is very effusive about its impact on the whole experience.

Not fussy. Just a consumer version of the Oculus Rift I think. If I really had to push myself though, a real life Cobra would be great also! :)

After playing the Alpha for a couple of days, I'm now looking at getting a flightstick for my bday which is close-ish. I'm using a 360 controller right now and its great but I feel a flightstick would be even better.

I know we are a skewed pool but with all the rift loving I am seeing in different forums it is going to sell like crazy. I hope there won't be a massive supply issue when it comes out

I changed, very recently, the processor, motherboard, ram and power supply (see Specifications below). My current screen is very satisfying to me. Samsung S22B350H, 21.5 inch, 1920 * 1080, 2 milliseconds. For the beta 1 (or the gamma) I need to buy a graphics card, GTX 760 or 770 or 780 (or AMD Radeon R9). A powerful fan for the processor, and a controller 360 and perhaps a SSD Sata III.

Waiting for Beta to build a new PC, so doing with an i3 laptop with integrated HD4000 gfx currently. Hey, IF I can run E: D on that, I might put off the new PC build even longer.

New machine: i5 possibly, i7 probably. Intel Haswell "refresh" is imminent, but probably won't be exciting.

Waiting to decide on Maxwell to decide GFX. Probably consulting something like THIS.

Hopefully E: D will support Freetrack/FacetrackNoIR, as I don't want to give TrackIR any money, and have an IR converted webcam already.

Have a lovely new X52pro sitting in a box (thanks eBay!), and will definitely be getting a consumer Rift. Hardware build will essentially revolve around getting the best E: D + Rift experience.

Oh, and if I ever get my house sorted, quite possibly a gaming pit/installation type thing. I really ought to know better at my age!
