Whats the gap on the FSS?

So uh, there is a gap on the far right bar on the FSS
Is it a bug? If not what is it for?
(We're also fine if we could just know if it is intended or not until we sink time searching stuff with it).

I suppose it has to be said that the "gap" is probably in the place where you might expect to find, say, a class of Gas Giant that can provide fuel for a Fleet Carrier.

Let's not forget that Carriers were supposed to arrive at the same time as the FSS did, so it might not be a surprise to find there's some link in functionality.

Don't asteroid belts actually range far enough down the spectrograph to cover both of those blocks? I recall them scattering pretty widely on the plot.

:D S

Safe to say it's for "futire content". It's way up at the "high energy" end of the spectrum, so it's for something energetic. Thargoid colony planets, Cylon basestars, Dyson spheres, that kind of thing.

I'd also assume the "gap" between asteroid clusters and NSPs is also for "future content". Thargoid motherships and whatnot.

Raxxla.

Due to all the super-high tech there, it pegs out the scale on the FSS. That's how you know for sure you've found it. That, and my "First Discovered" tag on it.
