Yeah it moved 4 hours from 3:00UTC to 7:00UTC. Maybe the Northern hemisphere heat wave stroked out the BGS server lol

Tuesday sees Patch down time exactly during current tick time...
Will we get a new tick time after servers come back up or will wars and elections now take 8 days not 7... as they skip a complete day... What will they choose..

Current tick time is right on the weekly server maintenance every Thursday and the tick still happens while the servers are down. So if anything it probably won't mess up this Tuesday. It'll do it later when we least expect it lol
Thursday down time is less than 1 min on horizons and login server never go down... most times As soon as your booted to main menu by the time the HDD has loaded the menu you can start again and go right back to were you left off...

They do sometimes reset the tick time to 1200 on version releases, but it's fairly rare.
Wars/electron results seam to have moved time yet again...
Im no longer able to be awake to see wars/elections results happen on stations so its changed the War/ elections start and end time again...
So as Ian stated, they have moved every thing after the update again...

It only moved by +4 hours so not the end of the world.
Moving it 4 hours would mean people who turned up expecting to be fighting for the Next day actualy were not fighting for the next day at all...
So could end up with a draw on the next day as that 4 hour slot may be the only time those American Time zone users play...
This will result in there play time not counting for the next day...
This is the issue when they move the time... those who know when the ticks meant to be then are not actualy fight that day at all...
Looks like another Move may be on the cards 2:30PM 18 AUG been and gone and wars/ elections results are not showing in game (edit at the station news) thats 3 hours behind again... Hope fully a one off..
Edit =War/Election states updated in station news ~ 5PM so influences should change around ~7PM..

Well, today's has shown up the expected 24 hours after the last one. Whether that's the last jump for now or we're going to get another shortly, who knows...
We have another "Delay" in the wars and elections results showing in station news its gone 4:30PM 22 Aug...
So resuts are still not out... Edit =4:55 PM and finaly there out..

Its moving again, moved the station news update time again, will have to see if this is permanent or just a few days off set timing....
The pass 4 ticks have been ~1 hour pass the "normal" time. Previously it was ~15:30UTC now it's ~16:30UTC so it's probably the ladder now for now. I swear the daily tick is manually started by a FDev employee and some days they just forget to hit the button lol

The tick may have drifted again but very slightly like 30 minutes.
News at the stations has updated allready thats way to early again for a 5PM tick .So may be another random tick update movement that happened way to early...

Sorry to necro, but this is a sticky and probably the best place to ask but will probably not be seen by many...
Anyone know when the tick is for Legacy? I know Live is around 10pm but I don't see anything change before 2am when I go to bed, so I don't know if even this is reliable.
I did some BGS stuff yesterday day time, on my console account (I very much prefer the 'old' UI), but as of 10am today I don't see any changes. So I guess the Legacy tick isn't the same time as Live.
