When do you close a zoo

I’m curious at what point do you close your zoo for good and move on to the next one? How many habitats did it have? Was it from it going into the negatives or did you end on a high note?

I had everything developed and about 10 habitats. 1 million gives you enough to build it all over again, but than just as you want it. Don't just close thezoo, delete all paths while the guests are still on it. That teleports the instantly to the exit of the zoo, saves you a whole lot of time and money.

So my strategy is:

1: Keep on going until everything is developed from the mechanic branch.
2: have enough to build it all over again, but that 10 times better and exactly as you want it.
3: Don't worry about your animals. They will all fit in you trade storage, even if you have a 1000.
4: Start slow, and don't open until all animals have habitats again. That way you don't have to lower your entrance fee.

This is what many do when they are bored of their current layout, and are full ideas for a new zoo. Don't close your old zoo, just rebuild it with the knowledge you have.

I closed my first two zoos because I just didn't like them. My third zoo, which is the one I play now is the best one I have built so far. I closed it after reaching enough money so I can renovate it - which is what I'm doing now. I've reached a point where I have everything researched and a lot of money so it's basically like playing sandbox but it's actually Franchise mode. My first two zoos were also just learning about the game so lots of trial and error.

I don't know for how long I'll keep playing this zoo. I suppose as long as I feel like it.

I kinda misunderstood the question. My first zoo was closed and deleted because it was terrible deep in debt. I lost all the animals with it, because I didn't know I could place them in my storage.
