Where have brain trees gone?

Hallo. I recently switched from Horizon 3 on xbox to odissey on pc.
Wonderful.
Just a curiosity. I cannot find anymore any old fashioned bark mounds or brain trees.
Have they been eliminated from the game?

Just found some brain trees couple days ago:

You need to use the DSS to find the blue areas and look in those. Brain Trees are pretty common in the blue areas, but Bark Mounds are still hard to find even in the blue areas.
