Horizons Where is your unofficial "home" system?

I live in Vega. The Vega Feds have been good too me. It's almost right in the middle of the bubble, It has my favorite star (blue white), high tech, Federal military & palm stations and is a Federal permit system so it keeps out the "ne'er do wells" which makes it a peaceful place to retire too after a day's hard work. The only time I would consider moving is when I turn Elite, then I may go to Jameson memorial but Vega will still always be home.

Although I enjoy the solitude, currently trying to make that "unofficial" home base more "official" (see Signature).
Wouldn't mind a little friendly company but I don't expect the remote place to ever become a busy spot. Such remote locations aren't for everybody.

Obviously, any other already registered Player Group could "claim" it at the next Cycle (already lost one Home System to a Player Group), so the future of this little Project remains unknown.
Still, no harm in trying and worth a shot after all the effort that already went in.

My current home is Fowler Orbital in Dvorsi. High tech with pretty much all modules plus Hi Res sites for combat.

If not there Achenar or Facae.

Currently on the Meta Alloy CG, so I'm staying at Obsidian Orbital in the Billy Rowney (Asp) at the moment.

Love hearing everybody's home world. It is odd how attached/nostalgic I've become to Bhare even though it is not that great of a system.

GD 140, Liwei Terminal. It's a pretty nice system with a HiRes and 2 HazRes. I am considering moving... perhaps to a Federal permit system or to the Minutemen's home system. Gotta say there are some good candidates in this thread.

I recently was confronted with buying my second ship, thus starting what would become my "collection". Realizing that there is no courier service and ships can easily become scattered throughout the bubble, I agonized over where I should "drop anchor" and make my official base of operations where I would come to store my collection and always return to find my 'center'.

After Help from some great forum members and a LOT of aimless flying around in Imperial space looking for the right mix of, location & Sovereignty, I found my home!

Tannhauser Gate out of Aztlan (Lavigny Duval)

Truthfully an unremarkable system with a single star, ELW and large orbital... but what an orbital it is :)
Perfect for sipping a stiff drink under the palms and plotting my next jump! :D

Cubeo, Medupe City. All my ships are stored there and I usually try to return there before I log off for the day, it's my comfy space home.
