Discussion Which Tools for Game Recording, Resolution, Quality Settings, Editing?

Hello Commanders!

I'm thinking about recording ED gameplay videos, but insure about which tool/resolution/settings should I use. So I would like to ask you Commanders, which tools are you using for gameplay recording/streaming (including resolution and quality settings) and editing. What is the best practise experience? I would appreciate it, if you could give me some hints. Thanks in advance.

I have always used Shadowplay that comes with nvidia cards, not that I record a lot. These days it seems to do broadcasting to twitch or youtube built in. I would record at the resolution you play at if you want to make really nice videos, you are going to have to reencode the edited video anyway.
