Why can't we have lethal weapons in the game?

I think we don´t need leathal wapons ingame.
But it would be fun to have at least in Sandbox the option to have our Tranque-darts etc. form the Rangerhelis in the jeeps and in firstperson mode too !!!
In JWE I it was a lot of fun to tranque an T-rex with 3-4 darts before he crushed your jeep...lol

It would be beneficial though keeps the gameplay interesting I would say.
It’s like the tornados in the game, they only destroy buildings and fences lol. They should kill dinosaurs and visitors like in JPOG. Just enhances the gameplay if Frontier did that lol

Being able to kill dinosaurs adds nothing of value. There are already way to neutralize and get rid of dinosaurs. Being able to kill them seems completely unnecessary.

To be fair in JPOG it added value to the game and they also had missions in the game. Cause just sedating is pretty repetitive and it gets old really. They could add something like that and make the sedating less effective to where we would have to use the lethal weapons.
Just a thought though but, of course it’s entirely up to Frontier. The dino breakout is really just the same scenario and putting them back in the enclosed area.

I agree with Jens, it's not really for this game specifically. I don't think I ever saw someone in the movies kill a dinosaur.
There were characters armed with lethal firearms in literally every single one of the JP movies. Muldoon carried around a military grade shotgun. In the books he threatened to release what he knew to the public if Hammond didn't let him have an armory of deadly weapons. There are parts of the book he blasts raptors with a rocket launcher! To say that it's not for this game is nonsense. The very game that is the foundation for the JWE series had them and did so for a good reason, yes, sometimes you need to kill! Not something I liked when working in zoos, but it's just the reality of the job.

Exactly, it literally makes since and how can they say it doesn’t make since when a PS2 game “JPOG” literally has it and was a huge success. And if they want to get technical the first Jurassic World literally had people shooting at dinosaurs. This is something that should’ve been in the game since JWE 1

I would buy this game if I can shoot dinosaurs on that game...you know.. For the valuable fun.

I like where someone said universe doesn't like killing... Lol universe giving life and taking life every day. Universe doesn't care about ethics

But they did have people shooting at dinosaurs and killing them, especially in Jurassic World (the first movie). It would make since to add it to the game.

To be fair, the novels are more for adults than for kids.
If novels had ratings the same way films did, the novels would probably be rated R...

The films were more aimed towards families.

Just the same, yeah, the films had people attacking and sometimes killing dinos. Only 2 dinosaurs in the film died by ranged weapons, though, as far as I remember: Charlie exploded from some kind of rocket launcher and Limbo was shot by Tiff
