Why not a new Elite game?

Console release damaged the theme back in 2.1
That damaged theme became the status quo.
That status quo will be the template for the new game and wont fix anything.
Sell the stellar forge, sound design and assets to another developer so they can make a different space game more in-line with what we were expecting back in 2014

I'd rather see this one through first and see what we get. I'd only consider another when it is also done.
