Why the forced reliance on backup generators in Sandbox?

I don't know if this is a design choice for the Biosyn and Malta sets or what for Sandbox, but if it is, it's one that I cannot for the life of me make sense of.

Why have pylons + substations if you can't build the power stations themselves?

I posted about this awhile back here when the BioSyn update came out. When using only BioSyn buildings, you can research the upgrade for an additional power slot, but can't actually apply it to the power station. There are definitely some missing pieces that prevent 'role playing' a map unless you mix and match buildings from other sets (which defeats the point).

Hey Lyra!

You can absolutely build the Power Stations in Sandbox Mode, you just have to do the Research (or build in Creative Mode). They're classified as Large Power Stations, so it's a bit of a trek to get there, but it's possible to unlock them.

It's likely they're not appearing in the menu due to a minor bug. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
