This is the reason I lost broadband for a week when virgin forgot to plug in my connection in the street box when performing upgrade fr someone else! When surgeon do this in heart ops its more serious..There is a Cable that isn't plugged in that seems to be Part of the Fan. Maybe I needed to remove it and forgot to plug it back in
That 'special plug' for mouse and keyboard went out of date sometime earlier this century...there's a reason why most modern peripherals are now USB.Now the only Problem is that the Mouse and the Keyboard (both USB which is absolutely stupid because a special Plug for Keyboards exists) don't work for some Reason but I think I will just need to check the Cables for the USB inside
Edit: luckily I didn't need to plug it out and back in. I just needed to push them a little bit
While true, some super serial gamers prefer PS2 as there's no latency. That 'special plug' for mouse and keyboard went out of date sometime earlier this century...there's a reason why most modern peripherals are now USB.
To me this sounds absolutely stupid. What's the Reason? I can understand it for the Mouse because a wireless Mouse is way better but why should the Keyboard require a USB Plug? I've had the same Keyboard since I've got my first Computer and it was even in Use before and there where never any Problems with itThat 'special plug' for mouse and keyboard went out of date sometime earlier this century...there's a reason why most modern peripherals are now USB.
For the same reason black and white TV's went out of fashion...they work perfectly well, some purists still like them but there's more modern options that in general, the industry have adopted wholesale rather than stick to an outdated technology standard just to satisfy those who should have upgraded their hardware...and their thinking... a long time agoTo me this sounds absolutely stupid. Just check/redo every connection. This includes memory, expansion cards (such as gfx card) and disk-drives sata/power plugs.

Asus prime X570 boards all come with a PS2 connector for either mouse or keyboard.Every modern SoC/chipset has a USB controller, but PS/2 support was pulled from most chipsets over a decade ago, so legacy functions require the presence of a legacy bus and an extra super I/O chip that takes up board area, complicates trace routing, and adds some cost.

So the form factor is either coming back, or Asus got really confused.
