Windows 7 support

Hello!
I tried search but maybe I was not effective enough, well. I wonder if Planet Coaster will work on a Windows 7 setup?

I tried with 8 and 10 but I violently hate those versions as I can't remove every trace of cleartype and Segoe UI. Windows 7 is not perfect but it is better in that aspect, at least compromise plus still being somewhat supported?

So I hope PC Will work on Windows 7. :)

2 days ago I bought new parts for my tower to be able to play PC better than my previous 6 years old setup. Costed a lot of money but I think I am worth it. I also needed new setup for my work too (lots of node editing vector image), so it is not just for the "fun".

There shouldn't be any trouble with Windows 7 support. Windows 7 is still a very standard OS and will be for several more years to come.

edit: Oh I'm used to RCTW forums having a delete button. Guess I'll have to be more cautious with what I post now [hehe]

Well my boyfriend is a tech/security guy so he's nagging me about the security issue of older versions of software while I am "old is better.. if aint broken do not fix" lol

In term of security, old is sometime better too (okay, maybe not always, but with Microsoft, it happens more than this should) [big grin]

This is interesting, K my guy say that old versions won't get patches and if someone find hole in it you are on your own. :p But I guess it depends on what kind of software it is!

Yup.
I'm talking about the OS itself (Windows). Sometime people dont want to make the last update, because it's worse than before.

But this was more like a bad "bashing windows joke" [big grin]

Windows 10 is quite good and with the fall update things has been way more stable!

I did try to install windows 10 you know. I installed Classic shell which made it feel more "home" but my problem was with the low control of system fonts+sizes+colors+no clear type setting respected and I figured it might come later when Windows 7 is not supported anymore and that bugs will be fixed too (grayed out resizing font individually, and the thing with not respecting cleartype setting on some places) and that more tweak software will appear. For now I will stick with Windows 7.
