That was my last trading interaction with T9. Picked a wing trading mission to transport a lot of gold, but the problem is that T9 has one of worst manueverability in the game. I think there is a dice roll going on every time you are on one of those trading missions, to determine if an enemy ship will be send after you or not. As far as I can tell, there is a small chance of this, if you do a single-run trade mission. That being said, until the mission it's finished, the dice is constantly rolling. So if you are in something as slow and as unmanouverable as T9 is, you are in for a constant stress, until the trade mission is fully finished. In most of other ships, you just submit to interdicition and boost out a few times -most of enemies won't ever catch you! But loaded T9 is a flying fortress without a black hole of a power source to support this elephant. You would have to have a defensive power of a capital ship to defend your cargo when AI decides to send an enemy after you.. OR be a master in this, in evading enemies in this situation. I got so ed first (and last) time I didn't even waited for that re-buy screen, was sick of gaming taking this long in this situation to exit the game too, so I just unplugged the whole PC to finally f*** it off. Next time I had run the game, was the first time I saw my status as not "idle" or "docked", but "DEAD". Good gods, finally the end of that bull. Paid my fine of<ruined all my previous efforts>, and never touched any T's ever again for a trading missions. For me for this, best worked Imperial Clipper -decent cargo space, and huge speed to escape! Since AI likes to send after you always fully battle-upgraded Anacondas and such. And I am one of those who does trading missions to NOT to encounter any hostilities on the way, just to unwind after work and make some money in game, to have more "exploration" options afterwards. Got enough of stress during the work-day already for fuc**** out loud... Even a slow (and pricey af) Imperial Cutter can do those missions easy. I have not much experience with non-imperial vessels.. But man, T's are not good for much in this, if AI is sending after you things like fully battle-upgraded fully battle-thirsting Python or Anaconda and such. Don't forget people, that we are talking now about a lot of cargo trading missions in here and nothing else. I personally respect your every personal preference. Just sharing my experiences with T9, for someone mentioned it. All the love, fellow commanders! muck muck
