Is it just me, or does it seem to stay stuck in hyper-jump for a lot longer now?

I was just coming to the forum to see if this was just me or not... It's weird it's only been doing it to me for the last 10 minutes or so but I seem to be stuck in hyper-speed for a minute or two suddenly...
 
The fuel cost thing made no IC sense as it was, fuel is fuel, should only cost based on how much you need. A victory for common sense here, huzzahs all round.

The IC reason was larger ships had a tarrif placed on their fuel costs to cover the use of the larger dock pads etc etc, there was even a Galnet news item on it when Fuel scoops were introducted, afterall FE2 and FFE has a docking fee when you landed at a station, but half to 3 credits was favour if nothing else.
 
I completely agree. The Asp audio is now horrific and needs to be reverted to the pre-1.2 clips. It's REALLY irritating when boosting through full speed because the 'propeller' rasp kicks as as well as the (quality reduced) boost sound.
How did this get through testing ... ?!

To my ears, I can't tell that anything has changed in the way the Asp sounded. Sounds almost exactly as it did pre 1.2.
 
I liked the sounds in the asp. It was extra growly. Sounded good doing loops in the station.

Asp is now really nice BH ship. My hull got down to 78% and reapair cost only 2200 cr. Nice :)

Check your hull integrity then let me know if its a good ship. 0% hull integrity is 2.3 mill repair, almost more than rebuy price on fully kitted asp

Yeah, have to say I was a bit surprised to see the faction I had been fighting for jump from 9% influence to 46% overnight.

Now that the war is over, maybe you can add the ability to filter the galaxy map by STATE (civil war, boom, lockdown, etc...), so I can find another one without searching the map, one system at a time, for 2 hours.

P.S. Why did you mess with the system allegience colors? Feds used to be Blue, now they're Red. Empire was Red, now they're Blue. Alliance was Orange, now they're Green. Independent was Green, now they're Yellow. Kind of unnecessarily annoying and confusing - especially since my excel spreadsheet for this game uses the old colors.

Anyone else having really long loading times in hyperspace? It takes like 40s tops sometimes to jump from one system to another, everything was ok yesterday since it usually takes like 15 seconds in hyperspace

Now you mention it, the Alliance Orange seemed to clash with Empire Red to me. I like this change. Plus, the colours now properly match with the station external colour schemes of the superpowers.
 
I would like a confirmation on sharing missions with Wing members. Noticed that this was a feature advertised on a few gaming news sites that reported about the 1.2 update, but after playing and learning it the hard way, seems like this is not possible at all. So, am I able to take the same mission from a bulletin board with a wing member and it would count it done for both players if we cooperated on doing it? Didn't seem like it, so a confirmation would be nice. Didn't find any previous discussions about it.

Also I am disappointed by this. We were really waiting for that feature in particular, but apparently it might've been too much. :(

Okies, glad to hear I'm not the only, too bad you're also having issues though... Is it slow all the time now? I'm still having same issues but sometimes the next system manages to load just fine, odd... Guess the server is just under stress or some such
 
Can't remember seen any change about fuel. Didnt play yesterday after the update, so first playing day is today.

My a-fitted Anaconda now cost to refuel 155 cr for 11 ly jump instead 14.xxx cr is this a bug ?

Edit: just saw othe posted about fuel hmmm. Maybe we now all can get elite status and 10 billion cr in out account and no kids have to cry anymore. GAME OVER

It appears ED is getting dumbed down in preparation for the console ;) I have a T9 and its ridiculous to pay 150 for fuel.... Thats what a scoop is for, or was. Now its just for exploring. Anyone with a large ship can afford the fuel. As a previous poster suggested just make the fuel tanks much bigger on them and use more fuel per distance. Repair costs cut right down. Hmm soon you will get Gold for 1 cr to sell at 9000. Love ED but listening to whiners sure is a good way to turn Elite Dangerous into Elite Harmless.

Scoop actually is more for exploring since you can't go anywhere from inhabited space without one... Whereas you could trade without it, especially if anyone with a large ship can afford the fuel.

I know its mostly for exploring. I use a scoop to save on 20k+ bills which while peanuts to me add up over many many jumps. Having such a pittance for a fuel bill for large ships seems rediculous in my opinion. Well game gets even easier. I will dump my scoop and get more cargo :) Edit : infact might as well remove fuel costs from the assets tab as it will be a joke ! Just tested. 2 jumps 243cr....

One thing i like about ED is you are always making compromises on ship outfitting. I decided to get a decent scoop after my fuel bill hit 2.6Mcr. A lot you might say but compared to the profit i was making i saw it as all part of the trading business. Trading is so much easier for me now. No chance to get interdicted at a star as im off right away. My T9 has had a stealth upgrade too, handles like my old T7 now not the brick i was used to. I reckon i could even fight pretty good in her now. Seems like Frontier have gone the way of all games devs these days and just make games easier for better access to a bigger player base. Good business sense sure, but sad to see in such a niche game. I guess im old and see things differently.

I don't know if it's easier per se, you just don't lose as much money. You could still run out of fuel :p. But yeah, I'd like to see a bit lesser scaling for repairs. IMO, it's kinda rediculous to pay crap tons of credits to get your more expensive ship repaired from 96% to full health. I know they talked about doing it but I've got no idea if it's already implented or not, my apologies if I'm beating a dead horse.
