Um, because, surprisingly, the whole world isn't on twitter.

Bit of a silly response... I have my twitter linked to my phone. It'd be useful getting an alert when ED gets updated. Been waiting for 1.2 and it's a bit of a pain checking the game and or these forums to see if there's been an update.
 
There is an issue where new player invitees (in a group) cannot join the same instance (in wing or not) as the rest of their group. Its not an issue that clears itself up, it is permanent. Last night right after 1.2 patch, our assuie friend joined our guild in a little training group and none of us could see or find him. Even while creating new groups we could never see him. Is this fixed yet, or was it intended to separate players based upon geography or something?

It's a valid suggestion. They should push out official updates on here, facebook and twitter at the same time. Then there's more chance the news will be forwarded around the community and more people would be informed about whats going on. There would be less duplicate threads in the forum with people asking the same thing over and over again and much better for everyone.

The two aren't mutually exclusive you know. You're saying this about an always online game in 2015 which connects players from all around the world via the internet . . .

- Reduce number of spawned AI in supercruise


There's something not right with this. I've seen one system with 15 odd NPCs, everything else has one or two at most. Fly back into that busy system and all of a sudden it's empty again.

Still not a single interdiction since release of 1.2, the systems were busy and dangerous in 1.2 beta.

Please please look into this.
 
Munitions empty

Hi everyone,

update 1.2.01 for Wings has been released and contains the following changes:

- Fix crash in ship engine system
- Add additional help to respawn players within the same instance as their wing
- Fix a cause of missing docking GUI
- Make sure that detailed surface scanners are displayed in the right module panel
- Reduce number of spawned AI in supercruise
- Fix FSD clouds never dying in Supercruise
- Fixes for broken Asp audio
- Flatten fuel cost to be the same for all ships
- Added default keybinding for nav lock (key_minus)
- Changed references of pause menu to game menu to try and prevent confusion that the game isn't actually paused
- Tweaks to some outfitting descriptions
- Commodity typo fixes

Server Changes:

- Reduced faction influence awarded when redeeming combat bonds
- Fixed a bug that was preventing some Commanders from loading into the game
- Minor performance optimisations

EDIT: Update 1.2.02 is incoming and will be live at 17:45 GMT. It contains a single change to fix the crash introduced in 1.2.01

Love the update, especially the fuel balancing, however, now my munitions are empty. Was this something in the patch? They were full just before the update. Thanks!

If I don't get a refund on the 8.5 mil I've spent on fuel I'm quitting.

You may be on to something here.... did you happen to notice the Galnet article on the class action lawsut against the station mechanic's guild for ripping people off? Right in the heels of the expansion which borought down repair costs.

I've experienced interdiction's twice since the update (evaded both times) but this may have been real players and not NPCs.

Numerous issues were tested and fixed during Beta. CTD was introduced in 1.2.01 update and could not have been tested during Beta.

RIGHT...we never left beta.... this game wont be in a release state for another year... and thats ok too... at least on most days its kind of playable...lol
