no Fuel scoop now unless long distance travelling
Is the fuel system now correct? As much as I love paying next to nothing to fuel my Anaconda, it does feel a little like cheating now. Before I had to juggle the layout, how much space did a fuel scoop take, how much was the fuel for the journey and how much would the cargo make and then run with the best for what I was doing. The new costs just seem to mean that when I pay 56 credits for my 9 Ly jump and instead of an A4 fuel scoop I carry 16 more tonnes of cargo...that's a no brainer now as even bio-waste can make that fuel back with the extra cargo.
Just feels a little like it has been dumbed down a bit for everyday playing, and only need a fuel scoop for the much longer trips.
Just a musing about how I felt the first time I refuelled for less than 60 credits...also why have the 10% button now if thats how its going to stay..it would only be needed in the direst of circumstances now and I cannot imagine what they would have to be to not be able to fuel 60 credits of fuel.
