Yes, but consider the people who making their credits with only bounty hunting. They need a closer option to upgrade. IMO 5M is the perfect price for it or could be cheaper to be in the best spot.

No way. I don't want a warning flashing up mid screen (possibly having to press a button to dismiss it) every single time I take off. If it was to pop up in the message section than the unobservant are still likely to miss it, and if you are one to pay attention then you can always check it in your side computer therefore achieving nothing.

on tuesday there was a over 50!!!! pages long thread with an outcry about the FDL price and to a lesser extend the vulture price. some ppl even called "quits" over the prices. ppl were not even talking about how cool the wings features are.
now the prices are reduced and combat players do AT LAST have a progression option viper>vulture and some of you are still complaining ?????!??!?!?!?!?!?!
note to self: do never apply for a job at FD, i could not take it ...

Fuel costs are silly
So does anyone else think that making fuel costs equivalent for all ships is kind of silly?
I mean, a bigger ship SHOULD use more fuel. Fuel costs are part of the reality of owning a (star)ship.
I am not saying that the fuel costs on the big ships was appropriate. I have no opinion on that, since I haven't flown anything bigger than a Cobra (where the fuel costs seemed very appropriate before they were reduced). But the idea that ALL ships have the SAME fuel cost? Silly.
This is a relatively minor issue, and it works in the players' favor. But it still breaks the believability a bit when I can fully refuel my Cobra for less than 1,000 Cr.

ooh Fed Drop ship down to 19 million now, just picked up to bounties...28,000cr for the both...time to hunt some more
Anyone else getting the previous system's system map come up the first time you open the System map? Corrects it when you open it again.
Sigh, like many other explorers here, I'm a lil piffed. Saving so hard to get out of my cobra and into an asp, or simply to afford a decent combat ship....and now it seems i could of made about about 15mil more if I'd waited a few days

Relax. This was expected. Those defending the status quo and those complaining have simply switched roles.
Also, to be fair, the extremness of the discount may ruffle a few feathers.

Right now we're all using the same grade and type of fuel; only now we're all paying the same rate for it, instead of it magically being more expensive for what could actually be the exact same tank size depending on how you outfit. It was the previous version that made it unbelievable.
