Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

They also added two rodents in the North America pack.

Rodents is a much larger and diverse group than caprines, that's not really comparable IMO.

We did get the timber wolf and then the Arctic wolf not long after the release of the base game. Then the dingo in August 2020.

So, after all this, I wouldn't be surprised if we get another canine in the next pack, since we haven't had one this year and we always get at least 2 every year (ignoring the 2020 DLCs, as the pandemic likely messed up the releases)

I need the Brazilian porcupine! It'd be nice to have another very unique rodent and a great new arboreal South American animal. I'm cool with the North American as well.

Absolute want one too! I prefer the Brazilian Porcupine, as it would help to extend the South American roster, but I wouldn't be unhappy with the North American Porcupine.

Ugh, both are good. Ironically, I've seen both of these but never the crested porcupine....

I'm team Brazillian porcupine but wouldn't be upset if we got the North American porcupine. Both are utterly adorable!

Me too. They are more common in zoos in my region and I just love to observe them.

So after the Teaser Stream is before the next DLC. I think Highlands animal Pack could have a high chance for Winter going again into (northern) climatic fitting Theme compared to Last year.

So I'd guess that this is either temperate or highlands or something adjacent, since we haven't had a cooler-weather-centered pack yet.

EDIT: LOL. Wrong thread. Yeah, definitely seems like something cooler could be in the works. Personally, I'm hoping for Temperate with a bunch of the highland animals.

My guess would be that we'll get some colder climate animals for the winter dlc because we got only warm/hot climate animals this year (assuming the islands/oceanian pack will come), so maybe indeed mountains. Or a generic forst/temperate animal pack.
