Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

but we have gotten like ten canids before. :)
Canids and cats are a very large category that for one frontier loves and two they have variety so it really doesn’t feel like theres a limit.

I feel like an Eurasia pack won’t happen because it needs the boar and they won’t add a third pig for the year. Sounds like another point why Alpine is gonna happen 😏

Which is definitely alright too, so long as we get a particular musteloid.

Yeah, especially cats. Even people who dislike the overrepresentation of mammals in the game are ok with Ocelot, Serval etc...
Antelopes (hoofstock in general) are important for the game because they are charismatic and irl zoos have dozens of species of them. I think cats, antelopes and IMO dogs are all fine to add more of. But,
an animal that is super charismatic, warm-blooded and underrepresented?
Birds... Even the bigger (i.e. doable) species like cranes and rhea and swans would add to better representation of birds.
And finally, what we really need more of is insects and the like. We need maybe dozens more!
At the end of the day, PZ should be somewhat reasonable cross section of the real life diversity in zoos.
I am personally a Bit tired of the bird discussion. Especially when IT comes to Flying birds 😃. I would Like to See more (at least habitat birds) but I think nearly every Bird needs a very special Treatment within the making process. But I would say another Crane (Grey Crowned), a Goose (Hawaii, Egyptian), a Pelican, some Special African birds (Shoebill, Secretary Bird, Helmeted Guineafowl, Marabou Stork), the Greater Rhea (fullfill the Ratites) would make a big difference. Ducks are clearly Zoo Essentials but there are so much different Duck species I already can hear the discussion around Here about the actual chosen Duck species). White White Stork and White Swan are not a must for me. I have Seen them within Zoos already but I somehow to Not combine them with Zoos. I do Not know why. An "oddball" Pick I really would Like to See is the Western Capercaillie which would give Europe a very charismatic Habitat bird.

Cats are probably the most popular animal Family Zoo wise (big Cats because they are Dangerous, small Cats because they are sweet) and that is one of the Main reasons why they do not really fail within packs. I am pretty sure that the common player is more keen on a Cat species within a Pack compared to the Common Forum member.

What if we get weasel like animal for every pack from here on out?
Christmas 2023: Wolverine
Spring 2024: American Badger
Summer 2024: Honey Badger
Fall 2024: Yellow-throated Marten
Christmas 2024: Sea Otter
Nah because this would rule out an amazon pack. Well unless you change one for the tayra

Edit: Orrrr sneak in an iod and grab the coati ;)
