I mean, the scenery would be cool but animal-wise? What could it contain? Emperor penguin, Elephant seal, what else?Im manifesting this an Antarctica scenery pack all the scenery being like old steamboat pieces and polar research gear

Those toys look like a Little Blue Penguin and a Red Fox. Very odd choices if correct.5 and 6. Weirdly shaped toys that guy from reddit was talking about yesterday. For personal interpretation.
Polar Animal Pack (Antartica itself does have a more limited animal roster so this is like Arctic pack 2.0 or animal pack version)I mean, the scenery would be cool but animal-wise? What could it contain? Emperor penguin, Elephant seal, what else?
whatever.. that is ur opinion and I am allowed to have my thoughts the same as you, so being rude that's just disrespectful. also I educated myself very well on the Hamadryas Baboon. I prefer to see the Hamadryas Baboon because they are so much more common, and yeah the gelada looking cooler but still i haven't seen any gelada in any zoo so.. I prefer to get the more common one. but you know whatever we will be getting, i would be probably happy with either. but i stil have priorities and not like for example the sloth situation where for a zoo game i think it's very wrong species to bring. Before throwing out assumptions, please educate yourself on the animal in question, if its just one its really not hard to skim a wikipedia article.
I would choose it over the hamadryas for a few reasons, but mainly that unlike the hamadryas the gelada is completly endemic to mountain ranges, only found atleast 1,800 meters over sealevel. While most baboons are omnivores the gelada for the most part is a grazer, something completly unique for primates. They have been slowly but surly expanding in the EAZA, especally after they agreed to phase out animals like the hamadryas baboons who dont need the protection in favor of more vulnerable species, like the endemic gelada.
For the game, theyd finally fill the open baboon role with a very visually distinct member, leaving the door open for others to join at a later point. Theyd also help to fill the east african gap, which has quite a few endemic species but only the wild donkey currently in the game, which would be a nice treat. They also just look really cool

I'd love that animal pack! But the suggestion earlier were Antarctica Scenery Pack, with specific steamboat scenery. I tried to point out the limited species in Antarctica. But I guess it could be called a Polar Pack with that kind of scenery and 5 of those animals you listed.Polar Animal Pack (Antartica itself does have a more limited animal roster so this is like Arctic pack 2.0 or animal pack version)
- Walrus
- Wolverine
- Arctic Hare
- Musk Ox
- Snowy Owl
- Lemming
- Puffin
- Sea Otter
I hear you on the limited species which is why I tweaked the idea. I’d be happy with either idea.I'd love that animal pack! Honestly I would change the lemming to another penguin, but otherwise I would keep the pack exact same.Polar Animal Pack (Antartica itself does have a more limited animal roster so this is like Arctic pack 2.0 or animal pack version)

Eurasia. Definitely Eurasia. We're expecting it to be something like Mountain pack (Alpine, Highland, etc), if it is not Mountain pack and turns out to be something else just like last pack, we expected it to be Temperate pack and it turned out to be Oceania pack. What would you guys like it to be if it is not Mountain Pack? Packs I would like to have if it is not Mountain Pack:
- Amazon/Latin America Pack - Finally, more South American animals
- Forest/Temperate Pack
- Eurasia Pack
- Endangered Animal Pack - Featuring Secretary Bird, I'm not sure if they will add another bird after a pack with two birds in it
Exactly what I thought, we can't have a polar pack without a single penguin.Honestly I would change the lemming to another penguin, but otherwise I would keep the pack exact same.
I think the king penguins could get a gentoo or rockhopper buddy. It’s a little weird seeing them kept by themselves. Also super easy bird representation for another Antarctic penguin.Exactly what I thought, we can't have a polar pack without a single penguin.
Actually, that's not a bad idea...Yeah as part of the bird mafia I don’t care about “clones” too much. That’s how bad the representation is right now.
There's always going to be someone who says that but honestly you could always say the same to the people wanting more [animal group]. Someone could love the idea of more canines and/or felines while not wanting a single more bird because they simply don't like birds, change it around to the more bird centered people and we get the ever lasting argument on the forum. It's great to have a large variety of animal choices, it would be boring if we all agreed on a single animal group to add to the game.BTW, I know many are probably going to say I should be content with the canids we already have.
Get me this pack right nowActually, that's not a bad idea...
- American flamingo
- Greater rhea
- Green peafowl
- Rockhopper penguin
- Grey-crowned crane
- Scarlet ibis
- Secretary bird
- Macaws
- Scarlet macaw
- Blue-and-yellow macaw
- Military macaw
I agree. Personally, the bat-eared fox doesn't signify anything for me, but at the same time my beloved gray fox doesn't mean anything to others.A few people are saying it could be safari pack and my hope for bat-eared foxes is going up. Even though, I know I shouldn't have that much hope for them...
BTW, I know many are probably going to say I should be content with the canids we already have. I agree, I should be content with just Planet Zoo in general! It's a blessing.
From the beginning, I thought we wouldn't get any foxes and now there are three! So, I understand if people don't want another fox. However, I was hoping for bat-eared foxes from the beginning! So, I was disappointed when fennec foxes were announced (I like fennecs in game though.)
My point is: I think its ok to want a bat-eared fox since that is the fox I was hoping for BEFORE any foxes were announced. I was hoping for it and the arctic fox <3
Great bird pack! I think imo maybe just replace the Ibis with an eagle or something... Oh, and the penguin replace it with a Macaw and use pigeons and doves for the WE instead.Actually, that's not a bad idea...

They both signify something to me actually! The Gray Fox is the most basal animal in the canid family. (Whatever that means haha!) I just have seen bat-eared foxes in person whereas I've only heard about grey foxes aside from I have a paw print of both species. I like to collect animal toy figures and authentic prints.I agree. Personally, the bat-eared fox doesn't signify anything for me, but at the same time my beloved gray fox doesn't mean anything to others.

My Safari Animal Pack Idea.I still want more animal from Africa...
Like: one of the carnivores could be a mongoose or Civet. Eland or Kudu (preferable Eland) would be nice. Another water antelope like sitatunga would be cool. Hornbills (I don't think they'd be good for WE so that's why I didn't include them) are essential almost. And there could be gerenuk or imo even impala! Lastly, there are countless bird species to add... So, even the most well represented continent could use more.
I wouldn't mind, but I'd prefer we get a pack that focuses elsewhere first, just so that the roster feels more balanced. I feel like Africa, Asia, and North America are all extremely represented in-game, overrepresented compared to the rest. Oceania has more animals than Latin America. Europe is not bad, but could use some keystone species, as well. I think the focus should be Central and South America next, then we can do another continentOh my goodness...
...Africa could easily still use two animal packs. And then, there is the very depressing states of (most) Latin America and Central Asia (yes, even Europe to an extent). Even Some of the US could use more. I'm thinking the desert. So, Africa's good but to me content is still welcome! My excuse is that African animals are maybe overrepresented in zoos irl?
