Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

yes i get that it was necessary to add to the base game to later add more WTE animals in DLCs. If you get the building in a DLC then you are forced to buy at least two DLCs if you want some other animal than the fruit bat.

I personally think (wish) that eventually, maybe by end of support we'll get a base game WTE animal as anniversary or free update idk.

Dont you think Planet Zoo mug with capybara on it is weird scenery piece for a pack ?

Okay I'll be honest didn't look too deeply into it, I mainly saw the big african animals on the front of the picture. But for the sake of my dignity I'm going to pretend it's a scenery pack and we are getting Capybara2.0 to justify the mug.

Most updates recently have one big thing, one medium, and one small in terms of how big of a change / the effort that is needed to make it. (for example, last update: Domes - Big, Orangutan Brachiation - Medium, Penguin variants - Small)
I'm assuming the Gift Shops are the big feature, what could the other 2 features be?

My most favorite animals are already in the game, as of most wanted I would trade Wolverine for the right roster of flying birds.

Marine animals are last on the ladder

Small: new animal variants

Shoebill (Africa/Birds unexpected)
Secretary Bird (Africa/Birds unexpected)
Tree Kangaroo
Patagonian Mara (Latin pack would likely focus on Central America or Amazon)
Swan (Birds unexpected and I don’t see it making an Eurasia pack)

Wolverine, Spectacled Bear and Wild Boar all have a reasonable chance depending on theme
