Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

That's actually not the case, Japanese serow are pretty rare in zoos.
OK, then replace Serow with Sika Deer... My point was hoofstock in general...
I love the look of Japanese Serow, whereas Sika is a mini red deerlike animal.
About the Rhea, I think we have representatives all the other big flightless birds so why not? Its far from exciting but it would complete the roster more.
Lastly, Nilgai >>>>> Blackbuck (Nilgai is unlike other antelopes in game and if we got him I wouldn't be so desperate for the eland anymore)

Okay, throwdown lists for the various packs, which ever it may be. Habitat animals only. More wishlists than what I think Frontier will include. Bold for headliner, * for scenery pack inclusions

Please just not something Africa themed. I'm good with more African animals at some point in the near future but really don't want it to be this pack.

All this Asia pack chat from yesterday has me intrigued…View attachment 376289Only problem is it can’t include the Wolverine, unless it’s a North Asia Pack.
Love. Alts can include bar-headed goose, yellow-throated marten, Asian palm civet, sloth bear, northern muntjac, fishing cat, Indian star tortoise, narrow-headed softshell turtle. Ofc nilgai, gaur, yak (although I prefer your bovidae picks). But you've done a great job of getting in a lot of the forum's Asian favs!

On branding: seems to me like the problem of South or Southern Asia being too similar in name to Southeast Asia is easily solved by calling it Indian Subcontinent Animal Pack.

I guess since we're talking all things Asia, I'm curious, what are your top 10 wanted animals from the continent? I'm going with endemic species for mine, but if yours extends into North America or Europe that's ok!

In no particular order:
1. Sichuan Takin
2. Markhor
3. Reeve's Muntjac
4. Guar
5. Blackbuck
6. François's Langur
7. Lion-Tailed Macaque
8. Japanese Serow
9. Sloth Bear
10. Pallas's Cat

Alpine marmot and European wildcat excluded because they have relatively small Asian ranges and don’t feel Asian.

However, most of the other animals discussed would be excellent

Just like to mention, if we’re gonna get a bird I would take Rhea over pheasant. Not only is it more probable but it’s also more useful for me.

I don't see why a bird per pack shouldn't be mandatory at this point.
