[WIP] The Elite Ship One Glance Reference

Bump... Ships have been tweaked and new ships added... Anyone find any mistakes or out of date date in my list up?

Please check your favourite/current ship to see if I need to adjust anything.

Does the Crusader excel at anything at all?

Challenger:

I spoke with those in charge of Coriolis numbers - the base and max speed were wrong - they will be updated in the next alpha release in the table - Base: 204. Max: 237. NOT 130/151.

with the Crusader, the Krait is not the only medium ship with 3 seats anymore.

The Type-7 is also the only large ship with just one seat if I am not mistaken.
It seems to be the largest ship with just small hardpoints, too.
There is also the one hardpoint on the ventral side either offset or missing the fifth hardpoint.

The Type-10 shares the Type-9 cockpit view.

I have not checked the numbers, but the alliance-trio is also rather drifty (compared to dropship)

Ouch, that's quite a big gap.

I shall adjust the table forthwith. thx!

Both Diamondbacks appear to be the only ships in the game whose top boost speed is affected by pips in engines. They only reach top boost speed with full pips and top boost speed will decrease just like top cruising speed with fewer pips.

For example, my DBX cruises at 376 and boosts to 492 with four pips, but maxes out at 231 cruising and 376 boosting with zero pips in engines.

Similar, but slightly worse story with my DBS, four pip cruising and boost speeds of 428 and 580, but zero pip speeds of 260 and 412.

On the front page, it states that the Alliance Challenger is, along with the T9, the slowest (base speed and max speed). The data looks like it was taken from Coriolis. I am an avid Challenger flier, and noted the stats on Coriolis were wrong. I have messaged them and the stats are now corrected on beta.coriolis, so the speeds are 204 base and 237 max, not 130/151.

Well, the FDL is no longer the only Medium ship with a Huge hardpoint (the Mamba has one), though it's still the cheapest (just).

And the Beluga no longer has restricted slots, and can manage the shield/fuelscoop/SLF combo.

Also, the SLF info predates Guardian SLF's.

DBE -Terrible fuel scoop(for exploration)

Added a few updates for 2019

Alliance Ships
Kraits
Guardian fighters..

Still a bit thin on fun facts, though.

I now have a Crusader prepped for transfer to Colonia (which is eye-wateringly expensive, so I wanted something cheap):

Second-cheapest SLF-capable ship (after Keelback).
Cheapest ship capable of deploying two fighters in multicrew.
Cheapest 3-seater ship.
