I have been waiting for a game like this to come out for years! Being a huge fan of the original Zoo Tycoon that came out in 2001 for PC followed by the 2 expansion packs Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs, I hope this game is truly its successor. I loved Zoo Tycoon 2 as well. The Xbox version of Zoo Tycoon that came out a few years ago was VERY disappointing.
I know we don't know all of the animals that are going to be available in this game when it releases, but I hope the list is long. I would love for marine, extinct, and mythical type animals to be released as expansion packs in the future if not already introduced from the beginning. I wish for the DLC to actually be worth my time getting. Adding in a few extra animals and a new building as a DLC pack isn't very exciting or really worth it to me. The original games you got so much content in the expansion packs that it was like getting another game.
Not having so many restrictions within the game would be great.
