Definitely agree with list especially birds of prey. You’d think with the signs in planet zoo that black rhinos,American alligators and others would be a hint to future dlc in game but we’ll have to wait and see.

There are no mountain gorillas in zoos as far as I know, unfortunately.
They can be, and have been, but no reputable zoo would take one today. Mountain gorillas have always been rare and there were never enough in captivity to form viable breeding groups. They also didn’t live as long in zoos as lowland gorillas, possibly due to something missing in their diet. Today there’s only around 880 mountain gorillas left. There are almost that many (856) lowland gorillas in a breeding program that 150 zoos participate in.
Taking enough mountain gorillas out of the wild to have a sustainable group for zoos would seriously harm the wild population, so no one wants to do it. However, if the wild population ever looks like its going extinct all the remaining gorillas may be rounded up to try and save them. Because at that point there’s nothing to lose, but fortunately we’re not there yet. This is a quote from a retired zookeeper

I’d love to see the Saiga Antelope in the game. It’s Critically endangered so would fit extremely well with the game’s main focus of conservation. And it’s so unique.Very reminiscent of the Paraceratherium!

Saigas alongside reindeer, pronghorn, and bison would help revive the steppe tundra that was lost quite recently. The only things missing would be the giants of the time.
