With avatars, we will need a "world scale" setting

I think it's time now to start making noise about getting a world scale slider. World scale is basically IPD, but without complicating positional tracking. If the in-game "eyes" are separated in the game world more or less than your own in real life, you will experience a weird scale. For example, I see the avatars as being a bit small, like children perhaps, a bit bigger, and it is quite off-putting. Others will find this much worse, or will see them as giants.

I think we can live with that when it's just a cockpit and endless space, but now that we are getting avatars, it will make a huge difference. Let's keep requesting Frontier to work on it from now. Not sure how successful we will be, but we can always try.

I've made this thread in the beta forum, feel free to comment your thoughts: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...t-setting-is-now-a-must?p=5217546#post5217546

Its been a peeve ever since i went vr.
You know whats worse than no body represented in vr.
A body with the wrong dimensions.

I agree, +1

The pilot avatar feels a bit small to me too. I haven't see the Holo-Me avatars yet, but I suspect they're the same scale as the headless pilot we're all familiar with in VR.
