We received the terrible news yesterday courtesy of his good friend Taren, that Nightranger (Scotty NR) passed away yesterday.
He has been part of the Hutton 'nightshift' (our friends from the left hand side of the map when looked at from Europe) for what feels like forever.
A regular on our teamspeak of an evening, and wherever he was in the galaxy, providing a good laugh and some company for fellow pilots. Similarly, a regular voice over the years in our Green Room, chatting and bringing news from his corner of the galaxy.
A very warm, friendly and entertaining friend who will be heavily missed by all those who knew him. The night shift at Hutton (in fact, many of us here regardless of geography) are a bit broken by the news, especially in the run up to Christmas.
We have sent our deepest condolences and love to his family and close friends from all us over at Hutton. I hope it is of some small comfort to his family and friends quite how well liked the Nightranger was and what a good friend he was to many.
