Workin’ on a BGS RP on Inara

Considering switching over from the PS4 side back over to the PC/Mac side (same CMDR in each) and until that occurs I’m looking to do some canon-based RP
If anyone’s interested in working through a couple of storylines hmu on the back-end or through here and we can see what works

Its all on Inara, which I just found out is- and I quote- the “second-person singular present active imperative of inarō” which itself means to “Plow in”, as textually-based work rather than LARPING. I figure it might be a little difficult for the everyone else to keep their heads on straight having to RP an interaction with a beautiful 18 year old young woman while looking at a grown man with a cigarettes and whisky voice.

Anyway, to give you the rundown, so you’re not all panicking, I’m working through a research program in my real world on political subjectivation and the production of gender and sexuality. Part of that work is being activated in a BGS/RP that I’m doing in the Elite: Dangerous universe.

My character is a potentially LGBTQ (I’m gonna stick with the authorial “its none of your business” approach within the Inara logs that’s I’m currently producing) that’s either totally in love with Aisling or a deeply confused and troubled young lady that’s looking for love in all the wrong places.

Its for something I’m half-jokingly calling “Every Twelve Inches: The Politics of Rights in the Industrialization of Human Sexuality and the Production of Gender Production” which is a reference to a former professor’s work on industrial meat packaging
