Trouble is this is how FD's E3 and PP announcements were perceived setting them up for the fall.
Saying something will be cool while not saying what it is has potential to lead to another fall.
Even if Kerrash says cool stuff is coming it is subjective and liable to be viewed in a totally different way by others. He also admits he has no idea what will happen when so doesn't really know the FD plan but has just seen some cool work in progress they may or may not have been viewed in context.
PP is a case in point, FD told us how really cool it was going to be but many people ended feeling let down and in turn made the E3 thing even worse, probably why FD keep their mouth's shut.
So what if people might feel that way about certain aspects, while others are just fine with them, maybe even think they are great.
Does any of that justify jumping down Kerrash throat and telling him to "shut up"?
He can't help if others take very...no wait...extremely vague statements like "SQEEEE" the wrong way. I can honestly say that yes, I thought there could potentially be something more shown at E3 and yes, I thought his SQEEE might be releated to that. I even commented on his tweet with "PLANETARY LANDINGS!!!!!" (half joking, half hoping). But you know what? Telling him to "shut up" because I thought that meant something else never even crossed my mind. If people feel let down because something they speculated about didn't materialize then that is their problem.
Free speech and all...
