Using a Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas and working on the combat training exercise to get familiar with buttons, setting etc etc. Now my problem seem to me one of over sensitivity. In a dogfight I pull back on the stick to pitch up to get on target and as the sight comes on target I ease off but the sight always over shoots never stops where I expect it. Slight adjustment down pitch and again the sight shoots past the target, tiny move up and overshoots again. Even if the target is coming straight at me slight movement to get on target causes the sight to move well past the target. I have played other space sims (X series) - although not with this joystick and never had this problem of overshooting the target constantly. Speed is set for sweet spot no effect. Speed 0 still no effect.
Some things I have tried without success. 1. Altered the locking screw at the bottom of the joystick base unit. 2. Played about with pitch control deadzones. 3. Pressed Z to switch off/switch on the flight assist.
Anything else I should try to stop this over/under shoot? Really annoying and is making combat impossible. Would appreciate help.
