At one time I would have. Now? Not a chance in hell. I'll wait for the F2P version next year.

not a problem --- but agree with previous posts, if they want to charge, then they need an in-game store, and need to do away with this silly p2p model. Which I think is most likely a show-stopper.

100% yes ... It's the way it should be for games of this scale.

(It's in this current state because they don't have the man power to do the work needed, monthly subscription would rectify that)

+1 to get real great content for years to come, I would gladly pay a sub.

Subscription no. But expansion packs, certainly! I really want to see the game expand - more variety in stations, ships, roles, missions, CGs; planetary landings and surface activities, extra-vehicular activities etc.. etc.. If paying for these means they happen sooner and/or are better in quality, I'm very happy to do so.

- Yes, wholeheartedly. That's the most accurate and honest way to mesure customers' satisfaction and the most motivating for the devs to create quality.

- yes, if I find the game engaging and being developed with genuine enthusiasm

Would I pay subscription for ED as it is now?
- definitely no, I see no return in contents and development for the money.

I support them by buying a paint pack once in a while and I would have no issues with other cosmetic-only micro transactions.
This should be enough for them to continue developing and keeping the servers running.
I've also no problem with paid expansions of course.

If really 'necessary', I would even pay a subscription if the price was low enough and only if I'd agree with the major development decisions that are being taken.
But I don't.
There have been too many empty promises.
This seems to be the norm for gaming companies lately though. And I hate it.

Personally I wouldn't pay a subscription. It's pointless to consider anyway because I expect many people who've already purchased the game couldn't afford a monthly fee - it'll never switch over, and if it does, say goodbye to most of the players. We've seen this in polls - not to mention the opinions of...well, everyone I know who has it.
