Yesterdays livestream

Hi all,

Sorry for posting this in English, if one of the Moderators wants to edit this with a translation too that would be super helpful.

I just wanted to make sure to post something up regarding yesterdays livestream.

We found out late that Germany blocks viewing of YouTube livestreams. Unfortunately at the time we found out we have already had all the advertising in place to run the stream on YouTube gaming. To avoid confusion we decided to keep the stream on YouTube.

The viewing numbers were great. However, we don't want to leave a large, vocal and very very awesome section of our community out from future events.

We're talking to YouTube gaming and we're trying to work out what solutions we might be able to have. We don't have an answer right now but we certainly won’t leave out a large section of our community.

In short, we'll let you know how we can make sure the streams are inclusive of everyone once we've got a bit more information. I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew we were looking into the issue. :)

Thanks,

Zac

Thank you for the information Zac.

/Edit: weitere Informationen sollen wohl folgen..

Meine Meinung:

Thanks Zac...yes the problem has to do with YT in Germany.

@Zac, the Solution for this problem is - Dont Stream on Youtube, use Twitch and everything is fine, becuz they dont block Twitch, i've never seen them doin' this.. ever, Its basicly a German/Youtube problem only, all other streaming-sites work perfectly.

*Basicly, some ppl in Germany still think the Internet is "Witchcraft-stuff", block it, burn it, dont show it to kids. Exactly thats the problem here. (<- this makes me so sad, becuz its true.)
