I am making a traditional park in the vein of Canobie Lake, Waldameer, etc. and I started working on a spook ride called Whacky Shack based on Bill Tracy’s 2 floor versions. I don’t have any pics yet but I got pretty far on the Whacky Shack building. I studied pics and videos of operating and defunct rides for inspiration. I used the cat cars because they don’t speed downhill like the Hoax and I wanted this to be a slow ride. Well, here’s a pic anyway of the Whacky Shack. It’s sort of based on a Whacky Shack that used to be at a now defunct park in Kansas and an existing ride with a different name in Texas. I’m going to have rides like you would find at an older park, wood coaster, steam train, antique cars, log flume, etc.
