What sucks is having somehow (and I still don’t know how, exactly) managed to put a nasty scratch onto the cornea of my right eye*, and therefore not being able to look at screens for too long, and therefore not being able to play Elite properly.

Yes, I’m feeling a wee bit sorry for myself.

Welcome to the one-eyed party! I lost the sight in my dominant eye about 15 years ago (retinal detachment). I can still play with one eye though the other eye is still functional enough to mess with me, so the eye patch can be helpful. My heart aches for VR.

PS: My holo-me has a cybernetic implant on the left side. I am jealous of him.
