You Know You're A Real Explorer When...

You take the time to study the movement of cloud patterns on planets, and are confused and hurt by the fact that they don't move relative to the planet.
 
When while doing trade oriented community goals for a few weeks, you advance more in explorer rank than in trade rank.
 
I think myself nearly home when I see the Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae since they were as far as I got on my very first exploration trip. They`re my signposts on the way back to populated space.
 
When someone give directions to somewhere referencing the motorways to take and when you hear 'M4, M6' there's a voice at the back of your mind insisting that'll probably be boring and have nothing but snowballs...

Save up for an advanced scanner? It only costs 1.4M credits. Even when I flew a T6, that was a small amount.
 
Yeah.... I may have been running around in my first Hauler at that point. Saving up for the jump drive took long enough as it was. What can I say... I hate trading.
 
When your co-worker complains that all the new High credit missions are 400 Ly, and it’s way too far for them to go.
