Well I've seen people citing the X-Wing, but I know no damned X-Wing making the Kessel run in less than 12..cough..parsecs..
Not sure if there's a picture even available but the starship bistromath from life the universe and everything.
In game I love the lines of the fed dropship - even if its a little iffy at present. If they go with the forum knockups of Fer de lance rather than their own it'd be that in a flash.

Probably no pictures of the bistromath. What with the Somebody Else's Problem field no one would be able to see it anyway

I'm guessing I'm pretty traditional when it comes to sci-fi ships, I'm sure my fellow CMDRs have different opinions. I really like the Federal Dropship, it looks 100% it's name and something the military would have come up with for the mission.
On the Sci-Fi side, we have so many, but I was always drawn to 'Albator's Arcadia'. Although the first time I saw Queen Amidala's Nabou Royal Starship I grunted a 'WOW'. But I'm a sucker for the SR71
... and my least favorite is this one. It looks too fragile for a fighting ship especially the circle windowed area in the back. Would look great as a pleasure cruise ship
Anyway, what's yours? How is FD doing so far with their designs according to your likings?
Yeah, the drop ship is pretty sweet. As for my personal favorites-I like the freaky Gigeresque looking ships:
In game, the Eagle.
Out of game, too many. A toss up between these two beauties. Both of them were products of the 60's and it blows my mind and saddens me that we don't have them today.

In game: Imperial Clipper - The slick supafly. You can almost spot the leopard coat and goldchains.

Yeah, but poor schmuck are you going to get to pilot it (the Starfighter) for you? If memory serves that thing had twin joysticks and was just about unflyable.
Maybe thats what ED is for. Elite pilots whisked off to fight for real. Man, that movie could use a reboot. Flight of the Navigator, too.
