Your favorite in game and sci-fi ship?

I'm enjoying my Cobra at the moment.

My all-time favourite ships from gaming are the NSO-Lapace manufactured Corvettes from I-War 1 and 2. There's something about sliding backwards at 2.5km/s and shooting someone that is 10km away and chasing you.

My favourite sci-fi ship is a toss up between the Liberator and White Star 2. They both back a punch and can take one as well; and if you see either in orbit you just know something is about to go down.

I didn't even realize I liked the "flat, compact" look till just now. I just like the utilitarian functionality.

Asp ingame, but my all time favourite still is cnv-01 from i-war (1999).

I just listed books and movies, but yes... that would be my favorite design from space games too.

Everything about it made sense -- the particle accelerator ring in the middle, the detachable command module at the front (from I-War 2), and most of all, the flight model. Such a shame that ED didn't copy the full flight model, instead of just a nod to the supercruise mode.

But that's another rant for another day. That was a great ship design for a space game, and it was also a larger ship than the typical space fighters from previous games.

Science fiction game ships...
X3 - Hyperion Vanguard (A surprisingly fun ship to pilot, good firepower and turret coverage)

Science Fiction series/movie ships
Stargate - Daedalus (She almost looks real, I like the weapons)

For me nothing beats the Imperial Star Destroyer. Not only a deadly warship, but a symbol of fear and tyranny.

Pro tip: The full res version of that image makes a great wallpaper or wall painting.
