That's my baby. and it cost me 593€. Budget! :D

Running what's below but should the Maxwell architecture appear before now and the game launch I'll be swapping out my vidcards.

I'm pretty sure that what I have now is more than capable of running the game at ultra settings.

Going to invest in a 27inch monitor at some point too.

I have my trusty i7 950-based box I built several years ago. 24gb ram, win7 x64, 2TB of RAID6 storage across 6 drives, and a pair of nVidia GeForce GTX 580's with 1.5GB ram each driving a pair of 24" 1920x1200 LCDs (none of that HD aspect nonsense here!)

Core i7 @ 3.2gHz (4 cores, 8 threads)
6GB DDR3 in tri-channel (3x 2gb)
2TB hd SATA III
ATI HD5850 (Will maybe upgrade before ED comes out!)
24" monitor
Windows 7 64-bit

Core i7-3740QM 2.7Ghz (8 Core)
16Gb DD3 1600Mhz
Intel HD GFX 4000
AMD Radeon™ HD 7970M(Wimbledon XT)
-2GB GDDR5 Video RAM
256Gb SSD
1TB Sata HDD
17" 1920 x 1080 (it's a laptop)

Win 7 ultimate 64bit

I built this about 6 months ago:

ASRock Z77E-ITX
Sapphire 7850 OC 2GB
Intel Core i5-3570K
Corsair CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 DDR3 XMS3 8GB
BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Cube Case
Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2UK Builder Series 600W Power Supply
Kingston V+200 120GB SDD

No DVD / BR drive as its not really needed in this day and age.

Should be fine for a while, CPU can be overclocked quite a bit, may need to upgrade the GPU come E:D Beta, but we shall see.

Otherwise its a nice fast machine, boots Windows 8 in about 3 seconds!

I recently jumped from a 4 core to an 8 core processor. I want to add liquid cooling, but since Elite came along, that'll have to wait a while :)

CPU: AMD FX 8150 8 Core
RAM: 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 Dual Channel
GPU: Dual AMD Radeon HD 7770
HDD 0: 128GB 6GB/s SSD OS, most programs
HDD 1: 2TB 6GB/S HD

I suspect I'll still be using what I'm currently running:

i7 3770k
16GB
Geforce GTX 680
2x ForceGT SSD's in RAID0

Although I may chuck in another 680 for some SLI goodness at some point this year, especially if I upgrade to a 27" 1440 res monitor.

Number of GPUs in W8

Does anyone happen to know how many GPUs W8 can render with? I'm aware that while W7 will recognise whatever number go in, it will only use four for rendering. Wondering if, when Maxwell lands, I could have 3 '890s' with six GPUs and about 9000 shader cores. Not sure what sort of LN solution I'll need for the CPU to feed that many GPUs but regardless I've not found anything on Google as to the GPU limit (for rendering) on W8. Don't know if anyone else has.

HP Pavillion DV7 Laptop
Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.30 GHz
16GB Ram
GEFORCE GT 630M 2GB Dedicated
Win7 64-bit

woof woof !

I built my current gaming PC a few months back

i7 3770 on a Z77 M/B with H60 liquid cooling
16GB RAM
256GB SDD + 2TB HDD
GTX 670
Focusrite Saffire 6 USB external sound card
24" Dell monitor @1920x1200 though mainly using it downstairs at the moment and pumping it through my 3D TV @1080P

Running Windows 8 courtesy of my TechNet sub and have got used to it now.

Would have thought this PC spec will be fine for at least the next 3 years though I also have a Raspberry Pi if it all gets too much

Well.. not sure what it will be when the game releases, though I don't plan on upgrading:

Win7 64bit Premium
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
12GB Corsair DDR3
24" Asus Monitor @ 1920x1200
Sapphire Radeon HD7850 OC 2GB

Here is mine...

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570
SSD: 64GB SSD
RAM: 12GB DDR3
OS : Win8 x64 Enterprise
