Thanks for organising this Bruce/fdevs - win or lose I had a blast running across the galaxy to re-visit old finds and look for possible Odyssey-friendly locations, a nice change from the usual. If only I could have thought of a good 30 second stunt as well :)

This system should be dead, but for an unclear reason isn't. Primary star, which exploded millenias ago, and changed into neutron star host object, which was too tiny to became real star- brown dwarf. One of this moons is The Last Homely House- Earth like world, which also create binary system with next, rocky moon.

Two ELW orbiting one around the other one, beautiful place (I did not discover it, but stumble on it)
Of course I went with a Dolphin to support Saud Kruger initiative and take some nice shots

Not one, but two ELWs are present around the main star in Kyloarph HW-D d12-4809 – a 34 body system with 5 stars overall. Neatly placed in Odins Hold on the main traffic route between Colonia and Sagittarius A*.
Except very few, all of the other bodies are landable – some with atmospheres, some without – featuring geological and biological sites.

For all the top 1% of all liners with functioning ingame entertainment systems, the travel to the two furthest stars D and E is also worthwhile: All of the bodies orbit their parent stars very close, making for incredible sunbathing hotspots (and pictures):

I can’t speak for Horizons, but in Odyssey the landscapes I encountered reached from snow topped mountains to deep crevasses.

A6 & A7 are Earth-likes (not orbiting each other, but A7 has a slightly excentrical orbit)

Greetings Commanders,

Explorers venture into the depths of space and discover beautiful systems that most will never see. We would like to offer you the opportunity to share your best discoveries and be immortalised in Elite Dangerous.

Our plan is to place approximately 50 additional Tourist Beacons throughout the Milky Way. Therefore, we’re running this competition in-line with this week’s exploration-based Community Goal.

To enter, reply to this post with an in-system (not System Map) screenshot of the most interesting unpopulated systems containing an Earth-like world you can find! When the Community Goal ends on 30 September, we’ll choose our favourites and add Tourist Beacons to those locations. Each beacon will feature the entrant’s Commander name in its text!

To qualify, submissions must:
  • Feature a screenshot of an unpopulated system in Elite Dangerous which contains an Earth-like world
  • Include your in-game Commander name
  • Include the name of the screenshotted system
Note: Only one submission will be accepted per player. If you submit multiple screenshots, the last one will be considered your only valid entry. Entries after 14:00 BST on 30 September will not be counted. We reserve the right not to include any Commander names in Tourist Beacon text that we deem inappropriate.

While the system must contain an Earth-like world, it doesn’t have to be the focus of the image. Try to show off as many features as you can which make the system interesting and a strong potential tourist destination!

All winning entries will receive 5,000 ARX in addition to the Tourist Beacon, so get exploring!

Good luck

CMDR Snedex.

Not a system I discovered, but the system discovered by CMDR Browntau, planet scanned by CMDR QIANAS T. GEEQ, and finally mapped by CMDR Sergkr83.
However, I present Synuefe ZG-T d4-11 4! Your ringed home away from home! only 600LY away from the bubble.

With exciting views of Barnards Loop, the witchhead, and the california nebulae*! Witness the Thargoid conflict at a distance in safety** and comfort in this uninhabited jewel outside of the bubble! If that doesn't interest you, go rock hopping*** in the exquisite planetary rings, maybe you'll find your fortune on vacation****!

Don't delay, book today!

** Please ensure your galactic insurance policy is up to date and covers thargoid incursion. We are not liable for corrosives, burns, interdictions or death by thargoid.
*** Requires additional rock-hopping package on top of your holiday price, subject to availability and space weather.
**** minerals may be present for refinement, no guarantees are made to their value or how mineral rich the ring is.
