General Your own npc pilots fly ships you outfitted

Maybe for fleet carrier owners create a mechanic that allows you to hire and manage your own fleet, but they would fly the ships you have bought and outfitted.
This would help players that play most of the time alone and could use a hand when it comes to mining or fighting Thargoids.
Maybe the amount of pilots you can hire could be unlocked by increasing the fleet carrier hangar or something like this.

Balancing issues aside, it's not like there isn't already an existing mechanic for this. NPC crew can fly the mothership when you're in an SLF.

That would be awesome. NPCs can already function in a wing, it would just be attaching them to the player. SLF orders become SLF/Wingmate orders and use the same binds, it's just contextual. Makes sense considering we can hire 3 Crew.

You'd have to rebuy potentially, let alone outfit, 4 ships so I'd say that balances it to a degree.
